It is now confirmed that the the new Sony a7C II, Sony a7C R and FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II lens will be announced on August 29th, 2023.

Sony a7C II Rumored Specs:

  • 5 stops IBIS
  • up to 10fps burst shooting
  • 100-51200 ISO
  • 10 bit 4k60p, S-Cinetone
  • 2,36 milion dot EVF
  • 3 inch fully articulating LCD screen
  • 759 AF points
  • Lens breathing compensation
  • Single slot

Sony a7C R Rumored Specs:

  • Same body as a7c II
  • 61MP sensor from the Sony a7R V
  • 8K video recording like the a7R V
  • 3 inch fully articulating LCD screen
  • Single slot
  • Other specs are the same as a7R V

Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II Lens Rumored Specs:

  • Optically superior to the first generation lens
  • More compact

  • The feeling in the hand is similar to the FX30.
