Nikon Z 70-180mm f/2.8 & Z 200-600mm Lenses to be Announced Tonight?

Nikon is rumored to announce two new lenses tonight:

  • NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 lens (non-S)
  • NIKKOR Z 200-600mm lens (non-S, could be 180-600mm with varaible aperture)

The reliability of this information is currently unknown. There is a high possibility that the 70-180mm F2.8 will be Tamron’s OEM as before, and the 200-600mm will be a variable aperture instead of “F6.3”. I’m also curious about pricing and specific specs.

Nikon is expected to announce four lenses by the end of the year (2023):

  • NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.2 S lens (S-Line)
  • NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S lens (S-Line)
  • NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 lens (non-S)
  • NIKKOR Z 200-600mm lens (non-S, could be 180-600 with varaible aperture)

Stay tuned for the details and full coverage tonight.
