The Next Canon L Lens will be EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III lens

According to the latest news, the next L lens from Canon will be a fast zoom (f/2.8), and it should be Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III lens.

The new EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM Lens (Amazon, B&H) was announced last week and it is really a great wide-angle prime lens. The next Canon L Lens will be EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III, and it is expected to be announced in the next few months, most probably until the new EF 35 f/1.4L II stock levels are good.

Some other lesnes will come along with the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III lens, like the long waited new Non-L, Non-DO 70-300 Lens.

And, maybe some specialty lenses will come in the next several months, most notably new tilt-shift lenses and a new macro.

Stay tuned for more info.
