Leica SL2 Leaked Images & Specs: 47MP, CINE Mode, 4K Video

Here are the first leaked images and specifications of the upcoming Leica SL2 full frame mirrorless camera. The official announcement is expected to be on September 24th, 2019

Leica SL2 Specifications:

  • 47MP CMOS Sensor (the same as Leica Q2‘s sensor)
  • CINE MODE
  • 4K video
  • Wi-Fi / Bluetooth installed
  • Compatible with the application “Leica FOTOS”
  • Model number: Leica 2998
  • Code name: Vader

This new Leica SL2 is expected to replace the current Leica SL (Typ 601) model, which is now in stock at Amazon, B&H, Adorama for $5,995.
