Sony FX9 6K & FX6 Full Frame Camcorders to be Announced for IBC 2019

Sony will announce two new full frame E-mount camcorders on September 13 for 2019 IBC show in Amsterdam: Sony PXW-FS9 and Sony PXW-FS6.

The Sony PXW-FS9 will be a 6K full frame camcorder to replace the popular PXW-FS7 with a new proprietary AI Autofocus System (Face/Eye detection) as available on SONY flagship DSLR cameras and IBIS. The EU price is €9,995.00. Shipping is scheduled to start in December 2019.

The Sony PXW-FS6 is the successor to popular PXW-FS5 II, and it will be released in Spring 2020.

We will give you the opportunity to trade-in your EBDN/Creative Ventures purchased FS7 or FS7MKII towards the new PXW-FX9.

As we did in the past we will organise some demo/workshop events in Ireland and throughout the EU where customers can meet each other and exchange their equipment face to face. We will also buy back cameras we sold in the past.

A new PXW-FX6 (Full Frame successor to the popular PXW-FS5) is expected to be introduced at IBC 2019 – Amsterdam as well. This camera is only expected to ship Spring 2020.
