Fujifilm XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 Lens Will Have Internal Zoom Design

According to the latest rumors, the Fujifilm XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 super-telephoto zoom lens will use an internal zoom design. That means the size of the lens will always remain the same even if you zoom in all the way at 600mm (900mm equivalent). So it seems to be welcomed by those who place importance on dustproof and splashproof and balance when zooming. On the other hand, portability is sacrificed, so for those who were expecting a compact zoom, the pay-out type zoom might have been better.

This XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 X-mount APS-C format mirrorless lens has an equivalent 35mm focal length of 229-914mm. In addition, the lens will feature the same matte silver finish as the XF 200mm F2 R LM OIS WR. It is reported that the Fuji XF 150-600mm F5.6-8 lens will be released in 2022.
