Fujifilm X-H2S Will Feature a 26 Megapixel Image Sensor

Fujifilm is planning to announce two versions of the X-H2 camera soon, called “Fujifilm X-H2” and “Fujifilm X-H2S“.

The Fujifilm X-H2 camera will be equipped with a 40-megapixel APS-C image sensor, and the Fuji X-H2S camera will be equipped with a 26-megapixel image sensor. It is currently unknown whether this 26-megapixel sensor will be a “back-illuminated type” or a “stacked BSI”. Considering the number of pixels, it seems likely that it will be a 26-megapixel stacked BSI, but is there a possibility that CFexpress Type B will be adopted as the recording medium with 40-megapixels?

In addition, both Fujifilm X-H2 and Fujifilm X-H2S cameras have a newly upgraded image processor, support 8K video recording, and both are priced at less than $2,500.
