Canon RF 10-20mm f/4 L USM Lens to be Announced Tonight

According to the report from The Camera Insider, Canon will announce the RF 10-20mm f/4 L USM lens tonight at midnight Eastern Standard Time (Daylight Saving Time). This is an L series lens, but since it’s f4, it won’t be too expensive. The price will be around $2,300.

I was looking forward to the release of Canon RF-10-18mm for APS-C, but I would be happy if the zoom range was expanded to 10-22mm.

There are currently no competing products, and Sony has a lineup of F2.8 / F4 zoom lenses that start at 12mm, but there are no AF zoom lenses that start at 10mm. Its rival is Canon’s single-lens reflex camera lens “EF 11-24mm F4L USM“.

If this rumor turns out to be true, previous rumors from Camera Insider, such as the RF 35mm F1.2L and EOS R5 Mark II, will suddenly become more credible. See more Canon Rumors.
