Canon EOS R5 Will Cost €4500 in Europe

The Canon EOS R5 is the most anticipated camera in 2020 with lots of amazing features and it is expected to be the best selling mirrorless camera in 2020. But the biggest and the most important question here is: how much will the Canon EOS R5 cost?

The previous report said the upcoming Canon EOS R5 will be priced under $4,000 USD (maybe $3,999 USD) although the exact launch price is still unknown. Today the trusted sources are claiming that the Canon EOS R5 will have an MSRP of €4500 in Europe. Keep in mind pricing in Euro also includes VAT. which can range from 17%-27% depending on the country you’re in. If it turns out to be true (€4500 in Europe), the price of Canon EOS R5 in USA will definitely be below $4000 USD.

As a comparison, the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV was officially announced with a launch price of $3499 USD, £3599, and €4129 in the Eurozone.

Canon will have major announcements in June and July 2020, and the Canon EOS R5 is expected to be officially announced in July along with a few new lenses.
