Canon Announces new Firmware Update for EOS C500 Mark II

Canon officially announced the new firmware update for EOS C500 Mark II cinema camera. The new firmware will be released on March 21, 2024.

The upcoming firmware upgrade introduces three additional Cinema RAW Light formats, enabling 12-bit recording across all frame rates. This expansion includes the Cinema RAW Light LT, ST, and HQ formats, offering a total of four RAW recording options – a first for the Cinema EOS series according to Canon.
