Here are the first leaked images of the upcoming Tamron 50-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD lens for Sony full frame E-mount mirrorless cameras. The official announcement will be in the next several days.

Compared to the Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD lens ($1,199), this new Tamron 50-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD lens has a smaller size.

This lens has specifications close to the 50-500mm that Sigma had previously lined up, but Tamron seems to be easy to handle by hand because the telephoto end is suppressed.
