Sony Registered the Third New Camera in Asia (WW850128)

Sony has registered the third new camera under the code name “WW850128” in WuXi, China (after the “WW119533” and “WW271448”). In addition to the Sony ZV1 announcement on May 26, Sony will have a major product announcement in June 2020 and Sony is going to announce a new full frame E-mount mirrorless camera (probably Sony a7S III) and several new E-mount lenses on that event in June.

Currently Sony has a total of three registered cameras. Here is my guess for the three new Sony cameras:

  • Sony WW119533: Sony ZV1, to be announced on May 26th
  • Sony WW271448: Probably Sony a7S III or Sony a7 IV, to be announced in June
  • Sony WW850128: New High End Sony RX-type model or similar
