Sony a9 III: BUFFER Testing by Matt Granger

Matt Granger recently conducted buffer testing on the Sony a9 III. His findings unequivocally suggest that opting for the lossless compressed RAW format is the optimal choice for swiftly clearing the buffer. Although shooting in compressed RAW does offer the advantage of capturing more frames, it significantly prolongs the buffer clearing process. Therefore, if speed is of the essence, prioritizing the lossless compressed RAW option is recommended for maximizing efficiency in buffer management.
