Canon patent application 2020-181169A (Japan) showed an optical formula for an RF 80mm f/2.8 1:1 macro lens.

  • Focal length: 80.45 mm
  • F number: 2.90
  • Half angle of view: 15.05
  • Image height: 21.64 mm
  • Lens length: 123.69 mm
  • Back focus: 13.72 mm

So, Canon is working hard on a prime macro lens for the RF mount. Hope we will see a consumer product in the next few months.
