Panasonic LX200 Rumored to Feature 20MP Live MOS Sensor (From Sony)

The upcoming Panasonic LX200 premium compact camera is rumored to feature a 20MP Live MOS image sensor made by Sony. Here are the first specs of the upcoming Panasonic LX200 camera (leaked at Chinese website CameraBeta).

Panasonic LX200 Rumored Specs:

  • 20MP Live MOS sensor (from Sony)
  • DFD AF technology that will increase the AF speed to 0.07 seconds
  • Larger OLED viewfinder
  • Tiltable screen similar to the GX8
  • Built-in ND filter
  • ISO up to 51,200
  • New filter effects
  • Built-in flash

The new Panasonic LX200 will replace the current LX100 model. The Currently, there is no info about the detailed announcement date of the LX200. This premium compact shooter will probably be unveiled around Photokina 2016 in September. The price should be around $800 just like the LX100 which was released in November 2014. The main competitiors of the Panasonic LX200 will be Nikon DL24-85 f/1.8-2.8 and Sony RX100 IV.
