Nikon Z6 and Z7 Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras and Three Lenses to be Announced on August 23

Nikon will officially announce two new full frame mirrorless cameras (Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7) and three new “Z-Nikkor” mirrorless lenses on August 23rd, 2018 at 12am ET (9pm PT).

The two new Nikon full frame mirrorless cameras will be called “Nikon Z6” and “Nikon Z7”.

  • Nikon Z6: high speed, low light model (24MP)
  • Nikon Z7: high-resolution model (45MP)

In addition, three new Nikon “Z-Nikkor” mirrorless lenses will be announced together with “Nikon Z6” and “Nikon Z7”:

  • Nikon Z-NIKKOR 24-70mm f/4 Lens
  • Nikon Z-NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8 Lens
  • One more wide angle lens (Z-NIKKOR 24mm f/1.8 or 28mm f/1.8 or 35mm f/1.8)

And, Nikon will announce the fourth Z-mount lens – Nikon Z-Noct-Nikkor 58mm f/0.95 lens – after August 23rd. The exact announcement date is still unknown.
