The new firmware updates Version 1.5 for Nikon D6 and D5 DSLR cameras are now available for download online. Download links:

Changes from “C” Firmware Version 1.40 to 1.50
  • • A [USB] item has been added to the setup menu. For more information, see the Supplementary Firmware Update Manual.
  • • When assigned to a control using Custom Setting f3 [Custom controls] in the [CUSTOM SETTING MENU], [Recall shooting functions] can now be used while the camera is connected via USB to a device running an app such as NX Tether or NX MobileAir.

Changes from “C” Firmware Version 1.40 to 1.50
  • When assigned to a control using Custom Setting f1 [Custom control assignment] in the [CUSTOM SETTING MENU], [Recall shooting functions] can now be used while the camera is connected via USB to a device running an app such as NX MobileAir.
