New Flagship Canon EOS M Body on the Way

We have already reported that Canon is planning to announce two new Canon EOS M mirrorless camera bodies in the second half of 2020: one is the Canon EOS M50 Mark II, which will replace the very popular Canon EOS M50, the other is apparently going to be a flagship EOS M mirrorless camera, but not the previously rumored Canon EOS M5 Mark II.

This higher-end Canon EOS M mirrorless camera will apparently sit above the Canon EOS M6 Mark II and it will be an EOS M body of “greater durability and performance than you’d expect from an M5 follow-up“. But it won’t be a flagship such as the Canon EOS 1D X Mark III. And this higher-end Canon EOS M mirrorless camera will reportedly be equipped with IBIS, but the upcoming Canon EOS M50 Mark II will NOT have IBIS.

In addition, Canon is set to announce several EF-M prime lenses for the Canon EOS M lineup mirrorless cameras in late 2020, maybe the 50mm prime, 60mm F2.8 macro and some wide-angle prime like 15mm.
