New Canon Superzoom (EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L Successor) On The Way
Canon is developing a superzoom lens to replace the EF 28-300 f/3.5-5.6L IS, according to the latest Canon rumors.
Several days ago, the new Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens specs and image leaked online. And today the rumors said a new superzoom lens is currently in development. Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM Lens is really a big and heavy lens for many travel photographers, so a lighter or cheaper one would make sense. The new superzoom lens is rumored to be lighter and wider, possibly to 24mm. Maybe it is a 24-300mm f/3.5-5.6L DO IS USM model.
Stay tuned for more info.
