The latest rumors suggest that Hasselblad will announce a new Hasselblad X2D 100C medium format camera on September 7th, 2022. Here are the leaked specifications of the Hasselblad X2D 100C camera.

  • Improved Live View
  • Top LCD screen
  • Better AF
  • IBIS stabilization
  • Three new lenses will be announced together with the X2D
  • One of the new lenses will be the already leaked Hasselblad XCD 38mm f/2.5 lens
  • Possible price: $8,000/€8,000
  • Expected announcement: Summer 2022
  • Capture One is expected to soon start working with Hasselblad files

This camera is equipped with a 100 million pixel sensor and IBIS, and is quite compact, so it is likely to be a camera that collides head-on with Fujifilm’s GFX100S.
