Canon RF 70-135mm f/2L USM Lens Coming in Q4 of 2020

We already reported that in addition to the new RF 28-70mm f/2L USM lens, Canon is also working on the new RF 14-28mm f/2L USM lens and RF 70-135mm f/2L USM lens – a “holy trinity” of RF mount f/2L zoom lenses. That’s really great news for the Canon EOS R and Canon EOS RP users.

The latest rumor suggests that the Canon RF 70-135mm f/2L USM lens will be officially announced in Q4 of 2020, and this lens is currently being tested by a very small group of photographers and videographers.

We know the upcoming Canon EOS R5 and Canon EOS R6 will have IBIS (In-Body Image Stabilization), so it it makes sense to leave IS out of this lens design to reduce some a bit of size and weight. Stay tuned with us for more Canon Rumors.
