Canon EOS R7 with APS-C Sensor is currently in the Wild

The rumor mill is coming back with some more information about the upcoming Canon APS-C format RF mount mirrorless camera: This camera will probably be called “Canon EOS R7“, and it is already undergoing testing in the wild by a select group of photographers.

According to the rumor, this Canon EOS R7 APS-C format mirrorless camera “looks nearly identical to the EOS R6”, and it is expected to have the very similar specifications as the Canon EOS R6. The official Canon EOS R7 announcement is highly probably to happen sometime in 2021.

A few months ago we reported the Canon EOS 7D Mark II will be replaced by an APS-C EOS R Mirrorless camera body. So, the Canon EOS R7 with APS-C sensor will continue the heritage of the EOS 7D series? It seems that it will probably happen in 2021.
