In addition to the Canon EOS RP Firmware 1.2.0, Canon also released the new firmware version 1.3.0 for Canon EOS R mirrorless camera.

Canon EOS RP Firmware Version 1.2.0

Firmware Version 1.3.0 incorporates the following enhancement:
1. Support for the RF24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM lens has been added.

This firmware update is for cameras equipped with firmware up to Version 1.2.0. If the camera’s firmware is already Version 1.3.0, this update is unnecessary.
