Canon EOS 5D Mark IV to Have a 24MP Sensor and No 4K Video?

Canon EOS 5D Mark III ($2,499) is a great all-around camera, but it is not perfect and it is three-and-a-half years old. These days Sony and Fujifilm have vaulted ahead in the innovation game. So, if the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV doesn’t have enough revolutionary upgrade in performance, people will look elsewhere for a camera body solution, like Sony a7RIINikon D810.

Today’s rumor: The megapixel of 5D Mark IV’s sensor is rumored to be around 24MP, which will be higher than 1D X Mark II. And the 4K video is NOT included in the main features of Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.

Previous rumor: Since lots of Canon shooters want to see the tilting and touchscreen LCD features in the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, so the next Canon’s professional camera Canon EOS 5D Mark IV will probably feature a tilting touchscreen LCD.

And the previous rumor said that Canon EOS 5D Mark IV will be announced before NAB 2016 in April, and the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II will be announced before EOS 5D Mark IV, but the specific launch date is still unknown.
