Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS III & EF 500mm f/4L IS III Coming in Mid to Late 2019

Canon recently announced two new super telephoto prime lenses: EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM Lens ($11,999) and EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM Lens ($12,999). Both of them get big weight savings (25% off and 20% off respectively) when compared to the predecessors.

The latest rumor suggests Canon will unveil the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens and EF 500mm f/4L IS III USM lens in mid to late 2019, which will also get the similar weight savings, but not as much as the 400mm and 600mm.

And, there is no new rumors about the EF 200mm f/2L IS II USM Lens and EF 800mm f/5.6L IS II USM Lens, which are expected to be announced as early as in 2020.
