Olympus Silver E-M1, E-M1 Firmware & 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO Lens to be Announced on September 15
According to recent rumors, Olympus will have a major new product announcement on September 15. And the product announcement will include the silver OM-D E-M1 camera, new E-M1 firmware update version 2.0.0 and Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro lens. The Silver E-M1 will come packed with the big firmware upgrade.
Olympus 40-150mm F2.8 PRO Lens Details
Olympus 40-150mm F2.8 PRO Lens will be the second lens in the PRO series after 12-40 f/2.8 PRO. Priced around $1,500, the Olympus 40-150mm F2.8 PRO Lens is the new mid-range zoom lens.
The expected features of the new E-M1 firmware are as follows:
- High Speed and Slow motion Mode (240p or 120p)
- New Codec with different recording mode (24p,25p,30p,60p)
- Motion Film
- New “Keystoning” feature
And on the same day, Panasonic will announce the Panasonic GM5 and LX100 cameras.
