Leaked: First Image of Fujifilm X-H2

Fujifilm X-H2 Image

FujiRumors posted the first leaked image of the Fujifilm X-H2 mirrorless camera. As you can see the image above, the body design of the X-H2 is exactly the same as the X-H2S as rumored so far, but it seems that the “S” mark on the front is certainly gone. It seems that there was an expectation that an “R” mark would appear on the front, but since the model name is not X-H2R but X-H2 unmarked, it may be more natural to have nothing on the front.

So, the Fuji X-H2 camera will use the same body mold as the X-H2S. The difference in appearance is that the X-HS body has an “S” logo on the front. It is reported that the Fuji X-H2 camera will be equipped with a 40-megapixel APS-C format back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 5 HR image sensor (non-stacked), and the price may be lower than the X-H2S, and it is expected to be released in September.

If this information is true, it looks like the body will have exactly the same design, as previously rumored. If anything, it will be a body for still images, so some people may expect a shutter speed dial, ISO dial, tilt monitor, but apparently it seems likely that it will be a sensor replacement version of X-H2S.

Fujifilm X-H2S body: $2,499 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.
