Sony A7000 Specs Leaked, To Be Announced at CES 2015
The specs and launch date of Sony A7000 mirrorless camera have been leaked online. Sony A7000, the Sony NEX-7 successor, is Sony’s new flagship E-mount camera with an APS-C sensor, and it will be announced at CES 2015 (Consumer Electronics Show 2015, which is bound to take place in early January). Sony A7000 will become a high-end shooter, but it will not be very expensive.
According to the previous rumors, Sony A7000 will have 4k video (uncompressed output), 1/8000 shutter speed, weather sealing, and maintain its rangefinder style.
Sony A7000 Rumored Specification:
- 256 phase detect and 125 contrast detect points
- Next 6 viewfinder
- Tri Nav
- Sensor will be engineered for high sensitivity
- Touch screen
- Zeiss lens 16-70 which you already know is weathersealed, but it will be 20% shorter, and sport a wider body. Best in class sharpness and micro contrast.
In addition, a new zeiss 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS lens will be released (For $1,199, more expensive than the current version), which is expected to be weathersealed, shorter in length, but wider in diameter. While Sony 16-50mm f/2.8 will not be weather sealed.
