Notice regarding some operations of “OM SYSTEM OM-1”

The new OM-1 firmware for this issue is scheduled to be released on May 24, 2022 (Tuesday).

In order to update the firmware of OM-1, it is necessary to update OM Workspace in advance.
The procedure for updating the new version and firmware of OM Workspace will be released on May 24th (Tuesday), so please follow the procedure to update.

We are currently receiving inquiries from customers using the “OM SYSTEM OM-1” that the camera freezes during shooting.

As a result of our research, it was found that when shooting with the EVF (viewfinder) frame rate set to “high speed”, freezes occur depending on the shooting conditions.
We are currently preparing for his web release of firmware that has identified the cause and addressed this phenomenon.

Customers who have experienced the above phenomenon are kindly requested to set the EVF frame rate to “Standard” before using it.
