Cinema Versions of Sigma 14mm f/1.8 & 135mm f/1.8 Art Lenses Coming Later This Year

At CP+ 2017 Sigma announced four new great lenses:  Sigma 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art, Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art, Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art and Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary lenses.

In a recent interview with Newsshooter.com Sigma revealed that they will release the cinema versions of the new Sigma 14mm f/1.8 & 135mm f/1.8 Art lenses later this year as part of the Sigma’s Cine Prime range. Sigma also revealed that they will be making more Cinema zooms as well. This is really great news for video shooters and cinematographers who are looking for full frame Cinema primes. Sigma also confirmed to me that both the 135mm f1.8 and 14mm F1.8 ART lenses will be available later in the year in Cine versions as part of the company’s Cine Prime range. They also told me that they will be making more Cinema zooms as well. This is great news for video shooters as a complete range of full frame Cinema primes from 14mm up to 135mm will then be available.
