Today Samyang announced two new manual focus lenses for APS-C mirrorless cameras:

These two bright lenses are standard angle manual focus lenses for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensor size compatible with four camera mounts: Sony E, MFT, Fujifilm X and Canon M.

Samyang Unveil Mirrorless 35mm F1.2 Photo & Cine Lens
August 1st, 2016, Seoul, Korea –The global optics brand, Samyang Optics has announced the new manual focus lenses forAPS-C mirrorless cameras: 35mm F1.2 photo lens and 35mm T1.3 cine lens. Both lenses have the bright F1.2 and T1.3 aperture to create best quality images.

The Samyang 35mm F1.2 ED AS UMC CS and 35mm T1.3 ED AS UMC CS are standard angle manual focus lenses for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensor size compatible with four camera mounts: Sony E, MFT, Fujifilm X and Canon M.

The bright F1.2, equivalent of T1.3 in cine lens, aperture secures a fast shutter speed even under the restricted lighting conditions to offer best quality images. It will brighten up your everyday snapshots. Also it creates an outstanding out-of-focus look by highlighting the main objecteffectively. The versatility of 35mm angle of view is also a charm. It liberates your daily images including landscapes, streets, portraitsand even lunch tables and brings the essence and joy of manual focusing to life.

Based on Samyang Optics’ exceptional optical technology, Ultra Multi Coating and two aspherical lenses have been included among nine glasses in seven groups to minimise aberration and unnecessary light dispersion, delivering high resolution from the centre to the corners of the image.

Along with portability of mirrorless lens, the 62mm of wide filter diameter brings the maximum amount of light into the lens to create the best work of light in photography. Also, the minimum focusing distance is 0.38m.

Samyang 35mm T1.3 Cine Lens for Mirrorless Cameras
Specifically, the Samyang 35mm T1.3 ED AS UMC CS is a cine lens optimally designed for professional follow focus system, thanks to the quiet and smooth de-clicked focus and aperture gear rings. Also, the distance scale and T numbers are marked on both sides of the lens for convenience when filming.

With the addition of these new lenses, the current Samyang CSC lineup consists of 15 bright photo and cine lenses: 7.5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 21mm, 35mm, 50mm for photo, cine lens and 300mm for photo lens.

Samyang 35mm F1.2 and T1.3 lenses to brighten up your day will be globally available from September. The suggested retail prices are EUR 449for 35mm F1.2 photo lens and EUR 499 for 35mm T1.3 cine lens.
