B&H listed the price of the newly announced Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 lens (for Canon EF and Nikon F mounts): $4,990. Zeiss says this lens is “The world’s best wide-angle lens.” Available for Canon EF mount and Nikon F mount, the new Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 Lens will be available worldwide in the second quarter of 2016. High-res sample images are available at Flickr.

Zeiss Otus Lenses are the completely new line lenses, Zeiss has announced three new Otus lenses: Zeiss Otus 55mm f/1.4 lens, Zeiss Otus 85mm f/1.4 Lens and the new Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 Lens.
