Zeiss Batis 18mm f/2.8 Lens to be Announced in March / April

The next Zeiss Batis lens will be the Batis 18mm f/2.8 prime lens and this lens is rumored to be released in April 2016.

The current Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2 Lens and Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 Lens are the first full-frame autofocus lenses with an OLED display for the Sony Alpha full frame E-mount cameras. Both Zeiss Batis Lenses are amazing!

According to a report coming out of Sony Alpha Rumors, the new Zeiss Batis 18mm f/2.8 Lens is confirmed to be announced in March / April 2016. That means the previous rumor is right and we will soon see this new Batis 18mm f/2.8 prime lens.

The new Batis 25mm f/2 Lens is a wide-angle prime that will be welcomed by landscape photographers. Although the detailed specs of the Batis 18mm f/2.8 are still unknown, it is highly likely that the new optic lens will feature autofocus technology along with the OLED screen, which is used for showing the focusing distance.
