According to SonyAlphaRumors, Sony will announce two new high megapixel cameras in 2015: one with a 46 Megapixel FF sensor while the other with a 54 Megapixel FF sensor.
The previous rumor said Canon would announce a 50MP Full Frame camera and a new 46-megapixel professional DSLR camera next month at PhotoPlus 2014, which will takes place in New York City. Now Sony joins the high megapixel war.
The new 46MP full frame camera is rumored to be announced in January 2015, and the 54MP one should be later.
