Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 DI VC USD G2 Lens to be Announced Next Week

Tamron will announce the new SP 24-70mm f/2.8 DI VC USD G2 lens sometime next week, just before the preorder and shipment of the new Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG HSM OS Art lens. This Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 DI VC USD G2 Lens will replace the current Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 DI VC USD model ($200 Mail-In Rebate).

The detailed specifications and pricing info are still unknown. Hope this lens will at least $100 cheaper than the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Art lens.

Sigma, Tokina and Nikon already updated their 24-70mm f/2.8 lenses, so it is not a surprise that Tamron will refresh the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.
