We know that the new Tamron SP 85mm f/1.8 Di VC USD Lens is now in stock and shipping at most US stores. It’s a great lens with affordable price. And then, what’s coming next from Tamron?

According to the report from NikonRumors, the brochure for Tamron SP 135mm f/1.8 lens was already leaked online (see the image above) and it is highly likely that the Tamron SP 135mm f/1.8 Di VC USD Lens will be announced at Photokina 2016 in September. If Tamron really wants to announce something new, the Photokina will be the best place for the annoucement.

Speaking of the 135mm lens, Nikon has filed a new patent for the 135mm f/1.8 lens and Zeiss will add a new 135mm telephoto prime lens to their Milvus lineup. The Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2 Apo Sonnar Lens is rumored to be announced in 2016, as early as May. The older Zeiss 135mm f/2 Apo Sonnar lens is currently $400 off. And Sigma is actively working on a new 135mm Art lens.

Stay tuned for more info.
