Sony RX1 Successor to Feature Sony a7RII’s 42MP Sensor and Pop Up EVF

The upcoming Sony RX1 (RX1R) successor is rumored to feature the same 42MP sensor as Sony a7RII and the same pop up EVF as Sony RX100 IV. They are just rumors, NOT confirmed by trusted sources, so take them with a grain of salt.

The next generation of SONY RX1 or RX1R (not sure which name is correct) will have a pop up EVF same as RX100 IV. And it will use the same sensor as A7R II, the 42M BSI. Size and the shape is similar as the current one.

This should be a great news for those who wants the amazing Sony a7RII power in a more compact size. The other info of the upcoming Sony RX2 are still unknown. But I think the new Sony RX2 will be a meaningful camera.
