Sony FE 800mm f/5.6 GM Lens Rumored to be Announced in 2023

The latest rumor suggests that the new Sony FE 800mm f/5.6 GM Lens will be announced in 2023.

Sony has already released the “FE 400mm F2.8 GM OSS” and “FE 600mm F4 GM OSS” lenses and has stated that they are currently developing the “300mm F2.8 GM” lens. This leaves only two standard super-telephoto lenses yet to be announced, the 500mm F4 and 800mm F5.6. If this information is indeed accurate, it would not be surprising to see the development of the 800mm F5.6 announced in the near future.
