Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM Lens Coming for Photokina 2018, FE 135mm Announcement in 2019

A trusted source claimed that Sony is planning to announce a new FE 24mm f/1.4 GM lens in Autumn, probably at Photokina 2018 in September. In addition, another new Sony 135mm FE lens is scheduled to be announced in 2019, the aperture is still unknown (f/1.8 or f/2).

But nothing is 100% confirmed before the official announcement, maybe Sony will bring us a big surprise at Photokina 2018.

We have to say Sony really needs to make a wide-angle prime GM lens. The current Sony GM lens lineup includes standard prime, medium telephoto prime, telephoto prime, wide-angle zoom, standard zoom, teleploto zoom and super telephoto zoom lenses (NO wide-angle prime).

In addition, the new Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens is now in stock and shipping at B&H and Adorama for $849.
