Sony Cameras in 2022: Sony a3, a5, a7R V & a9 III

  • Sony a3: $999, a smart Android-based camera that merges the Xperia smartphone line with the Sony alpha camera lineup.
  • Sony a5: a $1,200 full-frame camera to compete with the Nikon Z5 and Canon RP.
  • Sony a7R V: an update to the existing high-resolution full-frame camera that will include 8k video and a flip-forward screen to compete with the Canon R5.
  • Sony a9 III: an update to the Sony a9 II that includes the new user interface and a high FPS of at least 30 FPS to compete with the Canon R3… Will Sony crank it up to 120 FPS to match the Nikon Z9??
