A new Sony A6xxx E-mount mirrorless camera will be announced between May 20 – 23 to replace the Sony NEX-7, according to the latest Sony camera rumors.
The new Sony A6xxx, should be the long rumored Sony A6100, which will be announced in late May. Sony A6100 will feature a 24.3-megapixel APS-c image sensor with 1080p XAVCS Codec, that means it will not have 4K video.
It is still unknown if the Sony A7rII will come at the same day, but the wait can’t be very long.
Below are the new rumored specs of Sony A6100 mirrorless camera:
- No 4K Video
- 24.3 MP sensor
- 1080p XAVCS codec
- Announcement in May or June, 2015
