Sony a6200 & a6700 Rumored to be Announced on August 29

We already reported that Sony will announce two new APS-C E-mount cameras in late August 2019. The latest rumor suggests that the Sony a6200 and Sony a6700 will be officially announced on August 29, 2019. The Sony a6200 will be the entry-level APS-C mirrorless camera that will replace the current a6000 model, while the Sony a6700 will be the new flagship APS-C model to replace the Sony a6500 model.

Sony a6700/a7000 rumored specs:

  • 32MP APS-C CMOS Sensor (IMX510?)
  • 15fps
  • 4K Video at 60p

By the way, the upcoming Canon EOS 90D DSLR camera and Canon EOS M6 Mark II mirrorless camera will both have a new 32MP APS-C sensor.
