Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN Sports Lens Coming in Autumn 2020

Sigma has delayed the announcement date of the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN Sports lens to the Autumn 2020. This lens will be available in Sony E and Leica L mounts. Investigating the reasons for the delay, Sigma is actively improving the autofocus algorithm and performance of this lens. The focus algorithm of Sigma’s previous DG DN short flange version full-frame mirrorless prime lens works normally, but the focus performance of this 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS Sports zoom lens is not ideal. Sigma needs a little time to make relevant improvements and adjustments.

Note: DN lenses are all short-flange lenses designed for mirrorless cameras.
