Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 OS Art Lenses NOT Coming Soon

According to the latest Sigma lens roadmap rumors, Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 OS Art Lens and Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 OS Art Lens will NOT come in the near future.

Since the sale of Sigma 24-105mm is not-so-good, and Sigma wants to leave a bit of room for the Sigma 24-105mm, the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 OS Art Lens will be released in a couple more months, maybe after Canon’s own stabilized 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

Speaking of the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 OS Art Lens, you can just forget it. Sigma will rather stick to fast primes in this range in the close future. So Sigma will announce a 85, a 135, and perhaps a 200mm. And all these lenses will be less expensive than the Canon and Nikon competitors.

And, according to the latest rumors, Sigma is working on a new 12-24mm ultra-wide zoom lens, and this new lens will have two versions: Art and Contemporary, just like the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens and Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens.

Stay tuned for more info.
