Patents: Olympus 300-500mm f/2.8-4.0 and 200-300mm f/2.8-4.0 MFT Lenses

Crazy! Crazy! Crazy! Several days ago Canon filed a new patent for EF 40-800mm f/4.5-5.6 super telephoto zoom lens, today Olympus patented two crazy cool MFT telephoto zooms:

  • Olympus 300-500mm f/2.8-4.0 MFT Lens (33.8cm lens lenght)
  • Olympus 200-300mm f/2.8-4.0 MFT Lens (22.8cm lens lenght)
The Current Olympus ED 300mm f/4 IS PRO Lens

We know that the current Olympus 300mm f/4 PRO lens has a length of 22.7cm, while the 300-500mm f/2.8-4.0 is 33.8cm! How big! So, hope we can see these two crazy cool MFT telephoto zoom lenses in the near future.
