Canon has filed a new patent for several f/1.2 large-diameter wide-angle prime RF-mount lenses: Canon RF 24mm f/1.2L, RF 28mm f/1.2L, RF 35mm f/1.2L USM and RF 35mm f/1.4L USM lenses. Take a look at the patent details below.

For RF f/1.2 lenses, the Canon RF 85mm F1.2L and RF 50mm F1.2L have already been released, so it seems that the Canon RF 24mm f/1.2L, RF 28mm f/1.2L USM and RF 35mm f/1.2L USM lenses will also come in the future.

The 28mm f/1.2 large-diameter lens did not appear in the EF lens, so it is interesting to see if it will be commercialized in the RF line. However, if it is 24mm f/1.2 or 28mm f/1.2, it will be quite large, heavy and expensive, so I feel that many people want a well-balanced F1.4.
