Panasonic GH5 Rumored to be Announced at IBC 2016 in September

Panasonic will announce two new cameras by the end of August: one is a new entry level MFT camera, the other is still unknown, but it is expected to be the LX100 successor, not Panasonic GH5. But most of the Panasonic fans want to know when Panasonic GH5 will be announced.

The previous rumors said the upcoming Panasonic GH5 camera will be announced at Photokina 2016 in September. But today according to the report from 43Rumors, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH5 micro four thirds mirrorless camera will be announced at IBC 2016 in September. The 2016 IBC show (Exhibition) will run from September 9 to 13 in Amsterdam. This info is still NOT confirmed by trusted sources. If we can confirm or deny this information from a known source, we’ll update this post.

The Panasonic GH5 is rumored to feature Sony’s high-end 18.9mm*13mm M43 sensor and it will be capable of recording 6K videos at 30fps and, respectively, 4K movies at 60fps and it can extract 18-megapixel stills while recording videos.
