Panasonic FZ300 Rumored Specs: Sony 4/3 Sensor, 4K Video, Leica 24-400mm Lens

The upcoming Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 camera will feature Sony 4/3 sensor, 4K video full sensor readout clean (no crop) and Leica 24-400mm lens, according to the latest Panasonic rumors.

And the upcoming Panasonic FZ300 will replace the current FZ1000. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 has been announced, the GX8 mirrorless camera is rumored to be announced in late August / early September 2015, but it is still unknown when Panasonic will announce the FZ300.

  • Sony 4/3 image sensor
  • Leica 24-400mm lens, F1.8 – F4, with F1.8 up to 30mm, and at 200mm F 2.8.
  • Mic input, 4K video full sensor readout clean (no crop)
  • Capacitive touchscreen, articulating LCD, and 2.36m EVF.
  • Price in US will be $1,499
