Olympus Rumored to Announce Two f/1.2 Prime Lenses in Late 2016

It is confirmed that Olympus is indeed working on f/1.2 bright prime lenses. The previous rumor said Olympus will announce a new 25mm f/1.2 PRO lens at Photokina 2016 in September. The detaied specs, announcement date and price info of the upcoming Olympus 25mm f/1.2 PRO lens are still unknown. As we all know PRO series lenses are freezeproof, splashproof, and dustproof. So, the upcoming Olympus 25mm f/1.2 PRO Lens will be welcomed by us.

Today according to the report from 43Rumors, Olympus will announce two new f/1.2 fast prime lenses in the the second half of 2016. One will be the 25mm f/1.2 PRO lens, the other is still unknown. Exciting! And Olympus will announce a new 30mm f/3.5 macro lens in late 2016.

  • Olympus 25mm f/1.2 PRO lens
  • Another f/1.2 prime lens
