Olympus 17mm f/1.2 PRO Lens Coming Next!

We have heard several times in the past few months that Olympus will release at least one new f/1.2 PRO prime lens in 2017. Now the soid sources sais that the next f/1.2 PRO lens from Olympus is Olympus 17mm f/1.2 PRO lens! The detailed specs and launch date are still unknown. We expect it could be announced along with the upcoming Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III camera in late August/early September 2017.

In addition, Olympus is rumored to announce a new fast telephoto prime lens in 2017. A fast lens is more versatile and usually has faster focusing and it will be very useful for indoor sports & outdoor sports in low light.

The current Olympus 17mm f/1.8 lens is a very bright, fast lens ideal for everyday photography as well as street photography in which fast shutter speeds and sufficient light is important: $499 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.

And the new Olympus 25mm f/1.2 PRO lens is currently in stock at Amazon, B&H, Adorama for $1,199.
